Who We Serve

Four Rivers covers nearly 100 square miles of Winnebago County. It serves approximately 240,000 people in the communities of Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Cherry Valley, New Milford, Winnebago, and a small portion of Rockton. Except for several private collection systems, the FRSA owns and maintains all sanitary sewerage collection facilities within its boundaries. The FRSA’s approximately 1,100-mile long network of buried sewers conveys wastewater from industrial sites, other businesses, and residences to the treatment plant in southeast Rockford.
