Who We Serve
Four Rivers serves approximately 240,000 people in Winnebago County, including Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Cherry Valley, New Milford, Winnebago, and a small portion of Rockton and Boone County, covering nearly 100 square miles and a 1,100-mile-long network of buried sewers from residences, industrial sites and other businesses.

History
Since 1926, Four Rivers Sanitation Authority has been providing progressive wastewater and sewage treatment services for the Rockford region and the surrounding communities, but there’s more to that story.
